Echoes of the Diaspora: Exploring the stories of British Muslim women
Echoes of the Diaspora (Echoes) aims to enrich the collective understanding of the UK’s diverse communities through a specific focus on the stories of Muslim women, celebrated in a theatrical context, through live performance including poetry, monologue and film.
Muslim women are often spoken about and rarely spoken to. Echoes, therefore, aims to celebrate these stories with the aim of challenging the status-quo as well addressing the need for more nuanced and diverse representation within the arts.
